We have opened our first ever pop-up shop on Thursday 20 June at 11am at 136 Grosvenor Road, St Pauls in collaboration with the African Collective.
Sat 6th July 2019 @ The Malcolm X Centre
The St Paul's Carnival is back again, after a successful return to form last year where we celebrated our 50th Anniversary, approx 100, 000 people in attendance from all over Bristol , the UK plus many travelling from overseas.
This year the theme will be 'Our Journey' documenting the journey the original Windrush generation took to settle in the UK.
The St Pauls Carnival has announced a stellar line up for 2019 showcasing the best musical and creative talent from Bristol and beyond – with some exciting surprises still to come.
The four stages will host a vast range of Afro Caribbean inspired and world music alongside contemporary dance tracks. Staying true to carnival roots genres features will include reggae, soca and dancehall as well as grime, hip hop and drum and bass. Live performers and DJs will be entertaining the crowds from midday to 10pm on Saturday, 6th July.
There is only four weeks to go until the streets of St Pauls are filled with 100.000 Carnival attendees. To make this celebration on the 6th July the huge success it deserves takes hundreds of volunteers, just like you!! With a wide variety of roles on the day meaning everyone can find their place in the Carnival team. The true Carnival spirit is everyone being involved in making it happen so THANK YOU from the start for your effort and enthusiasm. You are Carnival!!
