St Paul’s Carnival has returned for its 50th Golden Anniversary and we want you to be a part of it!
We're back on Saturday 7th July and need people like you to make it a day to remember! This celebration of cultures is put on by the community, for the community and couldn’t happen without time and support from the people of Bristol.
We need more than 1,000 volunteers in total and have more than 40 different volunteer roles available: from helping out in the office or talking to local community groups, to performing, running a Mas costume workshop, researching local history, or working on Carnival Day itself at an information point, as a steward, litter picker or recycling hero.
Everyone is encouraged to become part of the carnival family and contribute to this important event, from the St Pauls community and beyond! With a huge range of opportunities available in the lead up and on the day itself, our dedicated team will find the right role for you. Volunteers only work for one shift (up to 6 hours) so there’s plenty of time to explore on the day, join up with a friend and work together or come and leave with many new ones.
The most important part of volunteering is that everyone gets more than they came with. With that in mind, this is what St Pauls Carnival could offer you as part of this unique experience:
- Official Carnival Certificate in recognition of your contribution.
- CV Growth - We will provide references on request to support your career aspirations.
- Learn new skills at event management and carnival arts workshops.
- Make new friends and increase your social circle.
- Carnival Crew T-Shirt - limited edition
- Tickets to official Carnival events and after parties.
Anyone can get involved so if you’d like to to meet new people, be part of the 50th Anniversary team and help bring St Pauls Carnival to life contact us today. Please help spread the word,
Don’t just spectate - Participate!
