St Pauls Carnival Presents Back A Yard

This year we wanted to show some love to all the incredible people that make up the St Pauls community. The people who have kept Carnival alive and thriving for 54 years.

So we took all the bits of Carnival you know and love – the food, music, arts and community – and put on Back A Yard.

This vibrant programme of events in St Pauls featured a Carnival Library to mark Windrush Day, a Community Picnic on Portland Square, an Elders’ Brunch and Community Celebration at Malcolm X Centre and a St Pauls Carnival Takeover at Lost Horizon, headlined by the legendary Horace Andy.

It was an amazing few weeks of celebrations honouring the local community, and everyone seriously brought the Carnival joy.

We've popped some event photos below so you can relive all that goodness (or check out what went down if you didn't make it) 📸
