Share your thoughts and help us shape St Pauls Carnival’s future
Today, we are launching our independent community research survey, designed to gather views, experiences and ideas from across the community.
We want to hear from local residents, volunteers, artists, performers, traders, sound system representatives, partner organisations and Carnival attendees. Your voice matters, and we want to hear your perspectives, ideas and recommendations as we work together to shape the future of Carnival.
The survey explores:
What St Pauls Carnival means to different people.
Which traditions and experiences matter most.
How people would like to participate in the future.
What opportunities and challenges should shape Carnival's next chapter.
How we can help ensure Carnival continues to thrive for generations to come.
The survey also explores several themes that have emerged through ongoing conversations with residents, volunteers, artists, partners and community organisations, including cultural heritage, youth participation, community engagement, sustainability and the future development of Carnival 365 activities.
This is an opportunity to reflect on Carnival's past, celebrate what makes it special, and contribute ideas that can help inform future planning and long-term decision-making.
There are no right or wrong answers. All perspectives matter, and your feedback will play an important role in helping us understand what should be protected, strengthened and developed as St Pauls Carnival evolves for the future.
Please complete the survey here before the closing date of September 23rd 2026. All survey responses are anonymous unless participants choose to provide their contact details. Any personal information shared will be handled securely and in accordance with our privacy policy.
Thank you for helping shape the future of St Pauls Carnival.
