We're hiring an Education Programme Manager (Maternity Cover) and if you've ever wanted to work on the part of Carnival that lives in classrooms all year round, this is the one.
Our Education Programme takes Carnival arts and culture into Bristol schools, exploring African Caribbean history, Bristol's own cultural history, costume, dance, music, identity and belonging.
The programme runs long before and long after the road, so we're looking for someone steady, organised and passionate about working with schools and young people to hold it while our current manager is on maternity leave.
The details
Location: Bristol, with hybrid working
Contract: 11 January – 11 August 2027, fixed-term PAYE
Hours: 21 hours per week, with flexible working days
Pay: £20 per hour (£420 per week)

An Enhanced DBS is required, and we can support you to arrange this. There will also be some evening and weekend work around Carnival events.
